Hey Everybody! Welcome to the forums. How about some quick introductions. My name is Shawn in real life. My friends call me Borris. I live in Canada with my wife and two sons. We own a table and chair making business. I started off in oil and gas, retired and turned my hobby into a second job. I recently discovered LOTRO and have adopted it as my new past-time.

Here's a picture of me and my boys back in Christmas last year in Kenya.

Hey Members! Great to hear from you all, good to see how many places our players are from. Alistair, since you are dutch I am assuming you are from Holland (correct me if i'm wrong). Hollands great! Stayed in a small village called Vlissingen in 2006. One of the best trips of my life. Just to let you guys know, once we hit the 50 player mark (unless we have already, our kin is growing at such a rapid rate its excellent.) we will be doing a kin photo shoot. I will send out a kin message for you all to check on where and when. But for now go over to the Polls section of the forum and vote on where you would like the kin photo to take place.

Have Fun!

from your site Admin and Kin officer, Borrin.

Yes, that is correct. I am from Holland. And yes vlissingen is a nice village in the province of Zeeland :P Got some friend that live near there so been there also a couple of times. I live in Assen, In the northern part of Holland. Perhaps you know it from the dutch TT. Part of the moto GP. In Italy it is after Amsterdam the best know city of Holland because of the Dutch TT. Kinda makes me proud :)

Sup everyone. My name is Kevin. I live in the good ole USA in the state of NJ to be exact. I'm familiar with playing mmorpg. I have spent the last 5 years playing FFXI. I recently retired from playing FFXI since I was tired of the lvl grind. Getting 5 jobs to 99 would of killed me.

I'm pretty new to LOTRO. But for free you can't go wrong.

Hello! My name is Adam. I live in Washington, DC. I have played LOTRO on and off over the last several years, though never leveling beyond about 35. I played WoW for quite a long time (with much more regularity than LOTRO), and recently decided it was time to move on.

When I returned to LOTRO in January, I found that my former account had apparently been hacked, so I started over with Thavian on Imladris. I look forward to getting to know you all!

Hey ya! My name is Faris Farid, and I'm from Malaysia. I discovered LOTRO while doing my internship, and hadn't stopped since! Most of you would know me from my Elven Hunter - Eldaril Galadhrion on Imladris. What I like about this kin is that people in in are free spirited and as diverse as it can be!

Hi everyone! Out here in the real world my name is Casey (though most people shorten it to 'Case' eventually). I live in Maryland where I proudly serve as a police officer. I also bartend when my former boss needs a fill-in and I can help out.

I had known about LotRO for a while, but after having dismal experiences on other MMORPGs, I never bothered to try it out. Finally, after a particularly stressful day at work (my first death notification, ugh) I needed to just zone out for a while and be someone else, somewhere else. I downloaded LotRO and the rest is history! :D

I have a few other characters, but my main is Tirithiel, a level 35 hunter currently prowling the North Downs. Got my prized-Eglan horse a few days ago and am currently debating whether I should finish up my Rep ranks in Bree to pick up their horse (even though it's horribly plain... chestnut with black points, poo!) I'm a severe "completionist" and need to finish every quest that I pick up. I neglect my crafting skills rather shamefully, but I *am* a prospector/cook/jeweler on paper.

Glad to be on the forums finally. Hope to play with all of you soon!

And since everyone else is doing it...

My boyfriend and I at the Inner Harbor! :3
